M. Storme’ Sweet, Co-Founder and Executive Director

When Aliah was born with special needs, Storme' embarked on what would become a 9-year hiatus from her career, to become a zealous advocate for Aliah, and a skilled researcher of children’s rights and services. In 2003 Storme’ became the co-founder and first Executive Director of the Aliah Sweet Fragile Hearts Foundation, bringing to the position a first-hand understanding, and tremendous passion for siblings of children who have severe, multiple, life-threatening, disabilities. Storme’ is a member of the elite “LA Rebellion; the 1st cohesive movement of independent filmmakers post Vietnam War.” Her work as a film and video producer is archived at the UCLA Film and TV Archives.
