The Aliah Sweet Fragile Hearts Foundation supports siblings of children with severe, multiple, life-threatening disabilities. ASFHF recognizes the life-altering complexities that are unique to siblings of children with severe, multiple disabilities and we have great admiration and respect for the special bond and the infinite range of emotions and experiences shared by these children. The ASFHF goal is to give siblings the opportunity and the respite to focus on themselves, as well the skills to apply their unique knowledge experiences

Eleven year old Ariel Sweet wanted to establish the Aliah Sweet Fragile Hearts Foundation in 2002 in memory of Aliah, her brother and best friend. Aliah had multiple disabilities and Ariel's happy little brother passed away at age 9.
